St Anne's enjoys working hard and playing hard together as a church family. Therefore there are regular events for the family to get involved in which are listed on the left. However, the regular weekly newsletter items will be posted below to give an overall feel of what is happening at our church.
Open the Book - Please can anyone who would be interested in being part of the Open the Book Assembly Teams, taking the message of the Gospel into Primary Schools in a fun and exciting way, have a word with Louise Waters to find out more.
Items for the Julian Trust to be placed in the basket at the back of church please. specifically requested are: UHT milk, tinned tomatoes, tinned tuna, squash, tinned custard, margarine and washing powder. Please note that clothes are not required at this time.
For those of the congregation who attend the Sunday 9.00 am service you are asked to note that on the 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month this will be a reflective Morning Prayer service rather than the usual Communion. Your continued support to the service and to our lay ministers who will generally be leading the reflective services will be greatly appreciated.
St Anne's wins a Bronze Award!! It's not only Olympians who can win medals. St Anne's has been awarded a 'Safe and Welcome' Bronze medal by Bristol Diocese for our work on ensuring we have a safe community for children & vulneable adults and ensuring we welcome all into our church.
The “St Anne’s Shed” (our churchyard working party) meets on Monday afternoons @ 1.30pm

Quiet Day. A Quiet Day is being held at Chewton Keynsham chapel on Thursday 27th April. If you would like to spend some time away from the busyness of life to be with God, speak to Molly for further details or to put your name on the list. The cost will be approx. £8 for the day and will include lunch and refreshments. Transport will be arranged.
Our Annual Spring Fayre and Table Top & Plant Sale is at St Anne’s School on Saturday 29 April from 11.00 am – 3.00 pm. If you can help with any of the following please get in touch as below:

2 We are setting up between 5.00 – 6.15 pm on Friday evening, we would be pleased to see you if you can spare some time to help..
3 We still have vacancies for table tops – contact Hilary Hemmings to reserve one - 949 3633.
4. Items needed for the day include: Good Bric a Brac; Toys; Bottles for bottle stall; Raffle Prizes and of course CAKES! Please bring on Friday evening or early Saturday or ring one of the numbers above and we may be able to arrange collection.
HOPE WEEKEND is Saturday & Sunday, 6th & 7th May. We, along with UCLG & The Mustard Tree Church, will be following the pattern of previous years with working parties on Saturday morning to do painting & gardening for those in our community who need help. On Saturday afternnon at UCLG there will be cream teas with music from What If and the Longwell Green orchestra. On Sunday there is a joint 10.30am service at UCLG folllowed by a BBQ. Please try to
come to some of these activities and in particular volunteer to help on Saturday morning. Please let Karen Wilmot or Mary Brown know if you can help.
Thy Kingdom Come - Various prayer activities are planned at St, Anne's as part of the Global Wave of Prayer, which is being held between Ascension and Pentecost, 25th May to 4th June. Details of our local events will be published shortly, for more information visit www.thykingdomcome.global
New wine Christian event 2017 - If you are interested in going to New Wine next year, St Anne's family members will be going to week 1, which starts on Sat 22nd July. We are going to book in with Phil Bradley's church using his church's name - St Sampson's Cricklade. If you want to know more about New Wine or booking a place, please call Karen on 9080391.
